In addition the older people learned that appearances can be deceiving. “He’s nice isn’t he?” said one older lady about the young man who had interviewed her and gone to fetch her a biscuit; he was wearing dark jeans and a black hooded sweatshirt, “I wish more young men were like him” she added.
